Join us for an afternoon of painting with local artist Shelby Monteverde as we get a behind the scenes look into her Crayons painting process and a step by step guide towards creating your very own acrylic piece. Through the subject matter of crayons, you’ll practice basic drawing, color mixing, and painting skills as well as learn about key art terms such as value, composition, color theory, and more. This class is for anyone! Whether you’re brand new to painting and just want to try out a different hobby, or you’re already a working artist seeking to grow and shake things up. Maybe you simply want an afternoon to escape for a little while from the responsibilities of life. No matter where you’re at or how you come, we’d love to have you!
